HIFA was founded in 1994 by a group of romance authors in the Cedar Rapids, Iowa area who were looking to share their talents with other area book lovers.

Whether you're new to the romance writing circuit or well on your way to publication, our group has something to offer you. HIFA has informative monthly meetings, critique groups and opportunities to socialize with others who are seriously pursuing a writing career.
